I have not tried Imitrex. However, I can tell you about Zomig. If you have a problems with side effects, this one was hard on even me. I have a high tolerance to pain, and side effects but the Zomig put me down. The phamplet inside the med box says tightness in the chest, difficulty breathing, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, irratic heart beat and then some. But what it didn't say was anxiety and nervousness. It tells you that you may feel pressure, however, it does not tell you that it feels as if an invisible person is giving you a bear hug!!!
The best bet for anyone though.... because it does not have this reaction on some people, is to ask your doctor for a sample. If you ask for a sample, you will not be wasting your money on something that you wind up throwing away.
