Hi,
I am in my 6th week and get them every 2 years on the dot in early March...they last 8 weeks.
I often wonder if hot sweet tea helps any one? It seems to help me, Yet, i hear that ice packs also work for other people....Yet! It seems in my case to make the pain more intense if i try, say an ice cold flannel on my temple.
When i breath gently into the tea as i am drinking it the steam soothes my eyepain considerably and gives a period of relief...it does not always work but generally the pain starts to subside ... So it, Well, makes it more easier to cope ...and mostly helps the pain to go after 20 minutes or so. Saying that i had a blinder last night for 4 hours and even a bucket of tea would not have helped. That was an exception though...and it went after clearing pints of mucous from making my self sneeze from my left side. Can any one else put suggestions to Hot or Cold? Regards Malcolm
