A while back we discussed those "warning signs" and the term "precursor" seemed to best describe them. They were distiguished from "shadows", I believe, by the fact that a "precursor" was any variety of sensations not particullarly painful which preceeded a CH attack while "shadows" were almost always described in terms of being painful and occured anytime...not just before an attack.
Try typing some of these terms into the search engine and see what comes up. The "precursors" were also reffered to as "twinges", "auras", "smells",warnings",etc..etc..
I feel very blest that I get a "smell" or "stuffiness" as a precursor so I can get ready.
I get no shadows....yet.
