I have been on Amerge since it first came out. I was on Imetrex befor that. I like Amerge because it works for 10 hrs. and I can set a time to take the dose I need so I can have a 10 hr. break in the pain. It works O.K but you have to take it when you get the first sign of an attack. It take about an hr. to kick in.During the peak of my cycle which for me is right now,
they only make the pain tollable for me. I have had this monster for 30 years and i have tried every thing. My doctor tells me that next year the makers of this drug will release a drug that is time released for 24 hrs. And they say will prevent these all together.I hope they are right!
