We laugh, curse, cry and generally fool around. But we deal with the cards we've been dealt. Yeah, life sucks....so tell me what else is new. I was once told (I forget by who) that s**t happens to nice people. Well, if that's true we must be WONDERFUL people here!
I think we are good people. We help each other (a lot), we fight with each (vehemently) and we take care of each other. That's better that suffering alone, take it from someone who knows.
I'm lucky, I got good family. Great husband, cutie-pie daughter. That's more than some have got here. We're not rich, hey we're not even "comfortable" (as my mum-in-law puts it), but we SURVIVE. Some people on this board have lost families, partners, jobs, homes, you name it, mainly coz of CH. But though they, and we all, get down sometimes we ALWAYS deal with it.
You have a choice here Cranpain. To take a line from a recent film: "take the blue pill and everything stays the same as it is - crap - but it stays the same. Take the red pill, and your life changes.......for ever. Take the red pill and you can never go back." That's the choice.
You can decide to stay the way you are, or you can decide to bite the bullet and make the change from victim to survivor. We all made that choice and we're all here to tell the tale.
BTW, I don't think they'll ever find a cause of CH and CPH and you know what? I don't think they'll ever find the cure either. You can't find a cure when you don't know what the cause is.
But I, we, still survive. Thats what this ailment's all about, survival. No retreat, no surrender.
You could say we're at war. I am NOT about to become a casualty. I dont want you to be one either.
If we ALL stick TOGETHER, we can survive this thing. And if that's the best I can do, I'll be happy with myself and grateful to the others here!
