Our Daughter aged 7 has also just been prescribed Sodium Valproate (Epilim) as she has suffered febrile convulsions since an early age which our doctors now believe is epilepsy. Her fits only seem to occur with the onset of fever associated with high temprature and we are somewhat concerned that this drug may have some unwelcome side effects.
The message posted by Johnathan Poulter was of great interest to us but there seems to have been little response. Could Johnathan or any body else out there update us with any news that they may have on this subject
