I've been watching what's been happening here from the sidelines for a time. I'm a relative newcomer to the board only having found it a few weeks ago and was beginning to get disillusioned.
By that I mean I was considering not bothering again since it seemed that it was taken up with petty bickering and in-fighting. That did not strike me as the purpose of the board. That I understood to be support.
I, for one, would like to know that there is somewhere that I can go for help when I'm battling the beast and where I can ask for advice without being shot at!
Bravo Elaine for having the guts to make the post and bravo Tracy for having the guts to rectify the situation. Can I ask that we all maybe think twice before we 'go off the deep end' and to not 'snipe' at people who we may disagree with?
Now, if you want to have a go at me for this post, fine. I have a fairly thick skin, however, be prepared to get as good as you give. The difference would be that any retaliation would NOT be public. And, for what it's worth, the name is mine.
Let's all respect what I believe the purpose of this board to be - support, advice, respect.
