I have had 3 concussions and have played sports all my life. I was hospitalized for 1 concussion for being hit in the head with a baseball. I was hit on the left rear side and that is the side I get the Ch's. I was 14 when this happened and I startied getting CH about age 17. I also had an eye disease called keratakonis which is coning of the cornea---and yes, it was my left eye. I sleep with both one and two pillows. So far, I get only 1 or 2 cycles per year and during different seasons and months. It is hard for me to tell whether food, alcohol, or season changes set off my cycles.
