One of the things that Verapamil does is to lower your blood pressure. In fact, that's what it was originally developed for. I have borderline high blood pressure, for which I used to take Atenolol. But, during a cluster episode, my doctor's associate suggested Verapamil instead of Atenolol. Now, I have the best of both worlds. The Verapamil handles both the blood pressure and the clusters. [and no, I don't think that high blood pressure has *anything at all* to do with clusters.]
