Can't help with the cost (fortunately the NHS here
works well sometimes!), but as for the bruising, I
know what you mean.
I started by using my legs for the jabs, but they
bruised very badly after a while (I average a
couple of jabs a day, over three years). I now use
my stomach all the time; it seems to take a minute
or two longer, but there's more of it, and it's
better padded!
