I watch my husband suffer through this nightmare... His
doctor prescribed Prednisone the first time it came on
(1996),a high dosage - and it stopped them. They
just came back, and our doctor (god bless this man!)
prescribed the Prednisone again. Its 6 for eight
days, then one less every 3 days - and they have
stopped. He had tried Maxalt and a variety of pain
killers like Demerol, Percasetts and Vicadin - all to
no avail. Our local pharmacists are fascinated, but
we don't care! ANYTHING that works. Good luck to you.
