See if the doctor will presribe Imitrex injections.They work in 4-6 minutes and it is better than sex.I've suffered from clusters for 10 years and been on many meds that don't work.I know what your going through.Its part of a screening process for the Dr.'s.Predisoyn also helps but they are intimidated to prescribe them to you.The predisoyn will break a cycle but may appear after starting to wean yourself off.Keep your chin up its a series of ups and downs.
