I totally agree. We should all take responsiblity
for knowing the effects of the drugs we're taking.
I had a cluster "expert" once prescribe Verapamil
for me, without asking if I had low blood pressure,
which I did. As a result, I ended up in the
emergency room. Apparently, if you have low blood
pressure, you're not supposed to take Verapamil--
it's clearly stated in all drug reference books.
So, from that point on, I always look up info on
all the drugs I take.
