Hi Renee. I hope this message shows up on the message board, my last one didn't. You and I have a lot in common. I am 29 and have had CPH (chronic paroxsymal hemicrania), which is a variation of CH, since I was 6 years old. I have been trying to get pregnant for 3 months now. I posted a message in mid-October about trying to get pregnant med-free, but the responses were not altoghether encouraging. It seems that the best we can hope for is to have a headache-free pregnancy. Since I have CPH it means that I have headaches every day, except for maybe a couple of weeks out of the year. In October I quit taking all medications and was having about 10-15 headaches a day...5 or more at night. It was exhausting. When I started my period and took my Indocin again, but only a couple of times. I'm now taking Advil on a regular basis, which keeps some of my headaches away. I know it is not good for me to take any medicaion at all, but I think that my only other alternative would be to quit my job and stay at home holding an ice pack on the left side of my head all day. I cannot work or concentrate when I'm having a headache so it wouldn't be fair to my employer to sit around the office holding my head all of the time. My husband and I are keeping our fingers crossed that this will be the month that we get pregnant and that the pregnancy will be headache free. I hope your clusters are few and far between and that you get pregnant fast! Good luck!
