Oxygen will abort the beast about 80% of the time, the rest of the time the beast goes for a walk. I think that in my case it mostly depends on how quickly I get to the O2. Many times I try to fight it off, half asleep and maybe in denial until the pain kicks me out of bed. I guess that it's too late sometimes.
