It could help a lot. There was a time that I had to have food stamps years ago and I lived in a houseing project with my kids after my divorce. I hated it. I was a waitress and they had closed the place down couldn't find a job and with four kids I was scard. I sent the kids to my moms for a week so I could look for a job. No luck came my way. Then one night I had just about given up finding a job. I had $5 in my pocket I was hungery so I stoped at a waffel house and got a grill cheese and a cup of coffee. In walked a man that I use to wait on and he asked if he could sit with me I said sure we talked a while and before he left the table he told me he owned a motel and needed a night manager it paid $500 a week! He did not ask me if I wanted the job he just told me to be there at the motel at 9 the next night. You know I was there LOL!
I was able to move and get off of food stamps a month later. I asked him what made him hire me he said the fact he offered me money and to pay for my meal and I told him no thanks I had $5 I could pay for my meal. He said he knew right then I was honest and that was what he was looking for. This man gave me a start and it has been up hill for me ever sence. I just kind of pass that kindness along. Just one kind thing can make a difference in a persons like just like that one kind thing did for me.
Now everyone go do something nice for someone you might just change their life!
