Your very insiteful words lead me to think of how hard it is to hide this condition from those closest to you and how much pain and confusion it causes them to endure.
My own family only wittnesses the real attack if we are out away from the house and I go into an attack. Usually before I can get home (Even with an Ice Bag wrapped around my entire head) it becomes so obious that I can't hide the pain and it becomes a race to get Old Sailpappy home to his hidding place (The cold water shower).
Even my 2 year old Grandson can see the signs of the Headache on Old Pappy's face-Got a Hegake Pappy? he says! and to have to answer yes is almost as bad as having the attack itself.
In my case its those images of the dissapointments that I have caused by having to leave the movie, resturant, game, school plays, and most meals at home that haunt me every time I have to say "Yes-I am having a Headache! again"
So to you I say Bless you for being caught in a situation where you have to feel the pain of your Fathers CH syndrome and Thank you for being one of the many support members that are there to help with the extra burden impossed on you by the same! Smiling with a tear in my eye ! Sailpappy
