Sorry to hear your cycle is starting again. We've also had success with the water, it brought my husband's cycle (which was in "peak" at the time) to a dull roar within two days.
He also uses the gel-filled ice packs (I keep three frozen at all times) on the back of his neck at the onset to stay calm and cool and inhales pure oxygen to abort an attack. We have little or no success with any meds so maybe these "natural" treatments will work for you. We'll put a good word in with the Big Guy Upstairs for you tonight.
