it's been so bad for you.
Maybe gene therapy will help future sufferers.
I hate to say it, but I doubt we'll be the last. Though I hope to God we were, but I can't see it happenin.
Don't get me wrong, I have no great love for medicos in general. Mine have been so bad. But there are some great docs who so *desperately* want to help, and do try (you sound like you could be one, maybe you have one). I feel sorry for them. They try so hard to help and just get dissed for it.
And what about the sufferers. If you feel there's suddenly hope (however tiny), and they're so happy they want to tell everyone - but then someone comes along and crushes it. You still have the pain and stuff. Suddenly there seems little point in carrying on.
I just think people should *think* about the consequences of what they're telling people. Some who are real desperate can do desperate things if they think there's nothing else.
I hope you do good for sometime NickD. You're one of the good ones!
