I was chronic for five years, getting a 9 or 10 every night. When they broke into episodic and I had some PFD''s, like you, I thought I had found paradise. My attacks have decreased in length and intensity over the years and I typically suffer for several weeks, twice a year. I'm in remission now. The best thing about the transition was realizing how great life can be without pain. I hope it just keeps getting better for you and the damn things disappear.
