Dear Oprah,
If you ever decide to do a program about life long friendship, please consider having me and my best friend Juanita on the show. I don't know the exact date, but she does, of when we met. I just know it has been over 30 years. Some people think that this is strange, because they think we have nothing in common, since I'm an African American and Anita, well she's was an adopted child rasied in a coal mining town in the hills of West Virginia. But in all reality,we are SISTERS in the truest sense of the word. We have been though a lot in our 30 yrs. Anita's marriages, 3 so far and since I have never been married my relationships. The birth of our children, the pain of miscarrages and life theatening health crisis, the joy of grandchildren and our weekly Yahtzee games (a story in its self). I would love to share our story as to how we remain friends in a world that has thrown us many, many curves.
