As doc Robbins mentioned two threads above, Naratriptan (Amerge, Naramig) is slow but long acting.
I take it (usually only half of a 2.5 mg tablet) before bedtime, and it keeps off most of the night time attacks.
(I also take Verapamil, 560 mg/day, that reduces my attacks to a mere Kip 2 or 3.)
