donnamaye, I have gone from episodic to chronic and I have read of many others who have also. Mine started 23 years ago and were every other day for about 2 weeks and would dissapear for a year. Now I have them every couple of months for a month or more. It is so confusing, that there are many similarities, and the main common denominator, yet so many variances. The beast has a mind of it's own...and fools us repeatedly, but hang in there...we will figure him out!
