After 17 years with a Fortune 50 company and an unlimited supply of Imitrex, I started a new job in February. Oops, I didn't know about the pre-existing condition clause insurance companies have. Is there any way around this dilemma?
I haven't gone to the doctor yet but I'm sure this will qualify. This sucks! How can a "headache" be a condition? Does this mean if I get a cold or flu I won't be treated?
I've stocked up with Imitrex for the winter but I won't make through the summer. I'm getting quarterly Clusters now, 8 weeks on 5 weeks off. I used to get them exclusively in the fall\winter.
Any suggestions?
