CH and sinus deformity

I was told (not formally diagnosed) with CH about 18 years ago,
but had not followed up on the diagnosis, as I really didn't
understand at the time what I was in for. Having read many
of the recent posts, I feel very fortunate to have had only
10-12 bouts of CH in the past 18 years.

In the past couple of years, however, I have begun getting
single headaches with CH symptom, and at unusual times. This
year I began experiencing allergy symptoms and made the a
assumption that there as a correlation. Lately, I have been
getting them on an almost daily basis, with severe nasal
congestion and eye irritation. Assuming allergies I finally
went to my doctor, who had an x-ray of my skull done to see
if the sinuses were indeed full. She pointed out to me on the
x-ray that my right sinus (my CHs affect the right side) was
somewhat malformed. It is significantly smaller than the left,
is shaped oddly, and has a short partition partially dividing it.

I was wondering if anyone else has noticed or heard of something
like this related to CH.

The doctor prescribed Flonase to try reducing the possible
inflamation in the sinuses, and I have noted that, so long
as my nasal passage is clear when I use it, I don't get a headache
when I use it. Any comments?

Thanks so much!

Jamie
