This is my first post here. I hope everyone is doing
better. I read one of the link articles about the
cluster headache and the grey matter that supposedley
grows onto the brain. From my standpoint it sure
looked as though the grey matter was on the right rear
of the brain. Well anyway, I had a headache both of
the last few days and was amazed at the relief that was
brought on by putting an ice pack on the right rear of
my head. A ten headache was easily down to five or six.
The complete length of headache time was reduced from
one hour to about 35-40 minutes. Maybe this is worth
trying. I have dealt with the cluster headache for about
12 years now. I am episodic. Two times a year usually.
Mostly between the hours of 3AM and 7AM. I found this
remedy by accident. During an attack I would put my
head in the sink full of cold water. While filling the
sink, I noticed relief due to the water hitting the right
rear of my head. I currently take 360mg of verapamil about
two hours before bedtime. Well good luck to everyone.
