I got this reply from CBS new. I sent them an email regarding CH. I sent all the networks an email actually. Any of them with a news magazine program anyway, such as 48 Hours, Dateline, and so on.
Anyway, all but one of them were ignored, and this is the reply I got from CBS:
Thank you for thinking to e-mail 48 HOURS
about cluster headaches.. You might want to
know that on March 4, 1999 48 HOURS
broadcast an hour on living with chronic pain
and one of the segments dealt with a 14
year-old boy suffering from severe migraines.

See there clusterheads? We should all feel better. CBS did a fifteen minute piece on a kid with migraines. We're not being ingnored. They're sympathetic...blah blah blah.
Yeah, right. I saw that episode. I was hopeful for any mention of my condition. A shred of recognition. Maybe it's not that important. We all know what it's like to live with the Beast perched on your shoulder.
But I still wanted to feel like my problem was a real problem too.
Of course, not a single mention of CH. Not even a reference. What would it take? God forbid we should receive a little attention. God forbid someone should take notice.
Yeah, thanks CBS. Don't do me any more favors.
