We are people from around the world with one thing in common. The way we react to it varies as much as we do ourselves and each of us copes better at some times than others.
The board expresses those ways - desperation, humour, anger, support, frustration, information, just chat, letting off steam, treatments, pleas for help.
I hope that you can find something among all of it which helps you. You need to be selective but, as in life generally, you learn a bit about people as you go on - who to trust, who gives, who takes, who knows, who only thinks they know. You don't see that just by walking into any room full of people.
The board is visible to all but there is a lot under the surface - I get a lot of encouragement from emails I receive, prompted by my postings. A few kind words can brighten my day. You can always email directly to somebody you think you can empathise with. You don't have to post your own email but, if you do, it can result in result in a level of confidential communication beyond that on the board.
Among the users are some marvellous people. Look how quickly they try to respond when someone needs it.
Your posting yesterday about the site was a good start - better to say you are pissed off than just be pissed off. We all use the site to help ourselves - you have the right to say if you don't like what you find. It would be sad to think that newcomers, who came in hope, did not have that hope fulfilled.
