Hi Susan,
You have lost nothing. By that I mean, were
these so called friends worth your time?
You can do much better than them. Please never
consider their misunderstanding of your CH as
a reason for a broken friendship, because they
aren't worth the trouble, they were never true
friends in the begining.
I've read your posts over the last month or so,
and you are worthy of better than those who
abandon you in time of crisis.
As far as dealing with friends on CH, I pretty
much leave it up to them. If I haven't established
myself as respected with them, and they can't accept my disorder. Then it is their problem, not
mine. I'll admit, I hate hearing those dreadful
words.."I've had bad headaches too"...but I know
underneath, how could they know? So, when I return to work and society, I then will know who
the true friends really were. No need to beg for
understanding, a true friend would accept you whether they understood or not.
Keep your head up high Susan, no need to chase
friends down, you are special enough in your
own right, and will find many close friends who
will realize that. Shoot, I've never met you in person, but can tell you would make anyone a great
friend, so those others, I feel are the losers,
not you!
A Friend here : )
