I was given 2mg to take up to 4 times a day with CYPROHEPTADINE (generic of Periactin) at 4 mg to take up to 3 times a day but found I couldn't tolerate the stuff that much. I kept it at about 3 times a day for Sansert and maybe twice (1 at bedtime) for the other. I found it made me too sleepy during the day. I was taking 1 240M GSR tab of Verapamil at bedtime also and still had some headaches but not so bad. My neuro also explained the Sansert but since my bouts are about 2 months it shouldn't be a problem as with 6 months of use.
An interesting thing though has happened this week. I started taking L. ACIDOPHILUS, an over the counter dietary supplement and in 4 days I have gone to no medicine or headache. I don't know if is coincidence or what but I never come out of clusters that fast. It has always been a gradual several week process, not days, EVER. Could be coincidence but will keep taking them to see what happens. Even the cloud or "shadow" has fallen to nothing and I feel "clear". You know what I mean? Will keep others posted if it works. I've had these damn things for 26 years and never found a "cure" so to speak.
