That's very cool of you to do this research for your brother. If you click on the link to the left of this board that says "Medical info" you'll find a lot of information about the different meds available. Verapamil as a preventative and oxegyn as an abortive have been the most effective things that I've found. And judging by the posts to this board, it's been the most effective for many sufferers. Sorry to hear about your migraines. Those probably are no picnic to deal with either.
