Obviously I can't speak for all of the Chronics, but I have learned just recently how to speak for myself. My wife and I have been married for 8 or 9 years now and she would kill me of she knew that I can't remember if it was 8 or 9 years now that we have been married. She has often called me an "idiot". I fear that she is correct.
I've had chronic Cluster Headaches for 16 years now and I can say without hesitation that these Cluster Headaches hurt, really, really bad.
I can't remember why I was writing this post, but I'm late for work now, so I must be going.
Oh yeah, now I remember. Our good friend, Jack Boyd who is all the time trying to 'cure' Cluster Headaches, said to me once in an E-mail this:
"Being chronic is unacceptable. And as the famous philosopher Jack Boyd once said - "the first step in improvement is to find a particular situation or condition totally fucking unacceptable"."
