I was 19 and in college. Woke up in the middle of the night with intense pain behind my right eye. Thought something was seriously wrong. I walked around the kitchen sobbing and blowing my nose. My roommates heard me and got up and tried to get me to go to the hospital. It felt like something was behind my eye just squeezing. The next day the inside of my head was sore, I've always described it as "bruised". I had another one a night later so I went to an optometrist. He said only old people had what I described to him. He said my eyesight was fine but maybe I shouldn't study so hard.
