Well, this ticks me off! I have suffered from CH for
27 years. Verapamil has helped me the last 2 yrs.
My G.P. doesn't want to
refill my verapamil. She thinks taking 480mg. a day
is too much. I feel fine (CH has subsided for now) I
know it is due to the verapamil. I'm going to call
her today and beg, if that doesn't work I'll rip her
up one side and down the other. I fired my Neuro.
(I think he was taking some of his own drugs). He
is the one that upped me to 480mg verapamil on Oct.
22, 98. But he also was very nasty and really didn't
give a damn about my CH during my last visit to him.
I must have that verapamil ! I can't believe that
the G.P. doesn't want to refill. I'm sooo fearful of
missing tomorrows dose - and then the CH will return
and life will be HELL once again.
Has anyone ever run into this problem? It's not like
I'm asking for some major pain killer!
These Drs. don't have a damn clue as to how PAINFUL CH
is, the agony that we and our families go through.
I thank you all for reading this and letting me vent.
I wish pain free days & nights to all.
