I too sleep sitting up. If I try to lay down and
sleep..forget it...I'd be asking for a full blown
attack. At least by sleeping sitting up, they are

I've mentioned this a few times on the board, without much response, but I really think it helps.
I wear a U shaped soft pillow around my neck. Looks pretty stupid, but keeps me from putting
pressure at the lower part of the skull and neck area. So, I can recline back a little.
This thing has almost become part of me, and I
truly believe it helps.
You can find one in a Kmart (in the automotive section of all places?). Might want to give it a shot, still can't lay down, but at least I can sit
in a recliner and stretch my legs out somewhat.
Oh yeah, another side effect of sleeping sitting up: Very sore back. Again a trade off I'll take.
