I have contacted the Trisha TV programme suggesting a feature on CH. If anything results I will let you know.
I would not see it as an opportunity to whinge but as a means of helping undiagnosed people recognising what they have so they can prompt their GPs.
Watch this space.
I also discovered this URL for the Headache Clinic at UCL. They describe CH as possibly the worst pain known to man. http://www.ion.ucl.ac.uk/~headache/headache.html
I have always been treated at Charing Cross and have always been given very prompt treatment (albeit not always effective, but that's CH). Try to persuade your GP to refer you to a Neurology Dept somwhere. Unlike most GPs, who don't really see CH, they can be very understanding and helpful, especially those who have
actually seen one of us during an attack.
We have to help ourselves, if necessary getting hold of info to inform our GPs - they do their best but they are snowed under. The more of us who do that, the more the word will get around and the easier others will find it to get diagnosis and treatment.
