I had my 1st CH around 8 and I'm 60 now. The love and light of my life has seen so many CHs, she knows exactly this. A. It's not gonna kil me B. My head will NOT explode. C. The screams, curses, etc are not me, it's the beast. D. DO NOT turn on the lights, my beast gets very agitated by bright lights. But to answer the question, I'll opt for the later. And Christine, long ago I quit making apologies. At work, that's what sick days are for and in social life, that's what friends are for.
