hi again jon, i was on pred. for 5 days and got pain in my hips so bad i could not walk.
i dont remember the mgs. ( was 7yrs ago).
doc had me taper off quick and within a few days there was no more pain.
if your walking and your off the pred., i think youll be ok.
if you feel it getting worse--get back to the doc.
