I worked with a therapist, received an audio cassette tape that I would play and concenstrate on, using self hypnosis techniques, I have gotten to the point where starting with, say the left toe, could put my whole body to sleep with exception of my head, never got that good at it where I could put myself into a trance to get rid of the cluster pain, but this technique with the O2 has been very helpful.
After my accident and having bad reactions to pain killers, my main savior was FreeCell, started a game 1 and got to game 29,500, did all games except 11,982 which is suppose to be insolvable, that helped me greatly to get my mind off my pain. Ironically, my son-in-laws dad fell two stories and was severely injured about the same time, he also found FreeCell beneficial therapy, TV didn't work for either of us.
