I’m an episodic cluster sufferer and, for me, a cluster attack still takes the form of waking me up from a deep sleep already in complete agony. But, I also have *chronic*, *non*-cluster headaches. When I get one of these st night, I *do* dream that I have a headache before waking up to discover that I really do have a headache.
And what about dreaming that your bladder is full, but you can’t find a restroom anywhere? Then you wake up and you really do have to take a serious leak.
It’s like, once you get to sleep, your subconscious tries to find ways to make sure that you stay that way, at least until you’ve had all the sleep that you need.
