I haven't been following your post close enough-I appologize as I know you have been getting good advise from the other that preceded me.
I had the Demon Dreams when I use to try to use Narcotics and the other pain meds as a way to abort the headaches. Drugs have a way of influencing you dreams. They are paramount to poisoning yourself and the mind reacts to there invasion with really odd, hedenistic type dreams. I don't know what Greg is on but warn him that there is a rebound affect from taking pain killers to try to abort the attacks. also your mind works against you, the worse it hurts the harder you fight to find balance,I use thought diversion and cold water and Ice to abate mine, I try not to become too desperate mentally because when you let your mind go there it makes the pain harder to deal with. I only know one thing for certain, the attack will stop! just as sure as it started, Mine usually abate when I get chilled enough through my head only to the point of getting goose bumps up the back of my neck. It takes 25-45minutes but there is no hangover from the water to have to deal with on top of the lack of sleep! Try to keep a place in your mind to take you to the most wonderful things in your life while your trying to suffer through the attack and it makes it easier to deal with. I keep a pen and paper in the Bath room so I can write down my thoughts while there fresh. You can have Physic visions, vivid day dreams and realizations about a lot of areas of your life while you keep your sanity at the same time! Good Luck Greg and If you need me I'm here for you Brother. Sailpappy
P.S. I recommend that Greg and You go to the Library and get the book "Lucid Dreams" and read it. It halped me focus my daydreams to produce some productive thoughts instead of the selfdestructive ones I use to have.
