He is tapering the medication now. The doctor has said he doesn't want him to stay on it after this round. He takes 5 pills first, 4 next day, and so on. He seems to feel very well when he does take it. I don't really know what kind of side effects are with this medication. He's been on at least 10 different ones it seems (including pain relievers).
He was on Lithium last year. The Imitrex shots help the best although you can have rebounds with them. What a mess.
