I almost always have a pre-cluster shadow. They range from 2min to 2 hrs before a full ch attack. I have recently been taking a dose of ultram 50mg 3xday, or if I feel a shadow coming on. It seems to be helping but I'm also toward the end of my cycle, so it's kinda hard to tell.
It sounds like your still dealing with clusters just a different version. Good Luck
