The dosage I was previously on, which worked for quite some times was 240mgs once a day. Now I take it twice a day, once in the morning, once in the evening. The increase in dosage took about 4 days to take effect(once I figured out that I need to take one in the morn, and one in the even., as opposed to all at once.) It's definitely a long-term med, but is very highly effective, with minimal side effects.
