I have found AMERGE to be very effective for me. It is supposed to be a newer form of IMITREX. I take the tablet as soon as I fell the pain starting or wake up with it and then get to the oxygen. Within appeox 10 min The pain subsides to a more managable level or is almost gone. This cycle is the first time I've tried AMERGE and it seems to build up in my system a bit and I only need to take one per day. Either that or I'm nearing the end of this cycle(7 weeks). I'm not sure if this will help you with your chronic pain? Hope so!
