I posted a message a while ago to ask for help in getting my medical aid to cover my imigran injections under chronic medication. Well, good news. After a whole lot of phone calls, lots of help from Dave and lots and lots of tears they have agreed to cover me. I can at least feel comfortable going out now without wondering where I am going to hide when the beast appears and I can go to sleep without putting my clothes next to my bed in preperation for a trip to the doctor for an alternative injection between 2:00 and 4:00am. Now that I have something to take away the pain I am doing research on preventing an attack totally. I have been reading and printing out most of the info on this site but my doctor has decided to try something else. He gave me a cortizone injection today (which I was not very happy about) and put me on Betanoid and dixarit tablets (short term to see the results). He has also said I must eat according to my blood group in the "Eat right diet" book. Has anybody tried this yet?
