I think using these means to avoid an attack is a victory over tossing a handful of brain deadening pills down your mouth like sailpappy says. I asked my ENT is some of those tight areas could be shaved off, this was several years ago, and he said no, maybe in the future. He recommended trying breathable strips like the football players wear, I tried those and they made my attacks more frequent, but they may work for someone else.
