Hi Linda,
My husband is the CH person in our house and his doctor (and I use the term loosely) prescribed Esgic Plus for him and nothing else. It really didn't do anything much for him, but if it doesn't produce a miracle then it gets thrown in the drawer. I think it certainly wouldn't hurt to try it. Tami's post had more information about the content of it, but it's basically a pain medicine I think.
Good luck to you! This whole thing is really unfair and to be in the minority of women that get it, naturally the doctor's can rule out clusters in the female group since it isn't common. Wouldn't it be nice to just go into the office with a hot poker in one hand and a list of demands in the other? :)(Gimme that oxygen or your eye is gonna get it, just like everyone with clusters has the pleasure of experiencing every day of their life during a cycle..)
I think we can all relate to the frustration you are enduring, as my husband's doctor has been NO help whatsoever. He even blew us off when we called begging for something else. Luckily, my husbands clusters seem to be in a slight decline, so maybe this will be the end of it (trying not to jinx him here :)
Hugs to you and I hope all the new treatments work like a charm!
