Yep, I spoke too soon. Despite doubling the Verapamil dosage, the demon came on with a vengeance this morning. It's only been 3 days since the increase, so I guess I'll keep trying. Lidocaine and Imitrex[nasal](I tried both this morning) no longer have any effect one me. Also, I think instead of taking the Verapamil all at once, I'm gonna try taking one in the morning, and one in the evening. They're extended-release, so I don't know if it'll make a difference. I've got a neurologist appointment on Friday but I doubt I'm gonna hear anything new. Has anyone ever tried cutting the goddamn nerve out themselves? I think I'm willing to experiment. Seriously, has that ever been considered? The removal or destruction of the nerve which senses the pain?
