I have had headaches tied to uncontrolled blood pressures which can lead to strokes if the pressure is not lowered. My Drs. don't really have any idea what is going on. Over the last 5 years, I had 2 or 3 strokes every year. I do recover, more or less, after a couple of weeks.
My "episodes" start with a headache, which builds in intensity over time. As the headache intensity increases, my blood pressure starts to increase. I try various medications to try to control the headaches and pressure but about the only thing that helps, most of the time, is a narcotic called Stadol.
Has anyone ever heard of such a thing? Does anyone know of a treatment to prevent these episodes?
